IronTy
What a crap storm. And to be clear, this wasn't a "storm". I've seen dandruff pile up more than this snow. I will not get NAM'd again, I will not get NAM'd again, I will not.... 1

Fairly in line with forecasts if I recall correctly. So temps were an issue for a lot of us unlike what others said...

Good banding.

mattie g
1.75" total in Burke. Most of that fell within the first few hours, with the snow starting between 6 and 7 am. We just didn't accumulate once the sun and temps rose a bit. We got good rates at some points, but just not for long enough; things then melted and/or compacted, and that was it. SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Ended up being a beautiful afternoon. Temps spiked to around 40 with a nice sunset, took the kids out for a nice walk. No snow left whatsoever from today. Generously giving myself an inch storm total but was probably less.

Good banding. So I checked other stations in the area. Almost all of them had 0.20 - 0.25 for the initial precip, so we're good there. The main difference is what accumulated and melted in the rain gauge. Looks like others were in the 0.50 - 0.65 range for totals. Maybe mine collected more snow? It is off and above the back deck, not under trees, so fairly representative. Not sure, but I am getting tired of issues with my station anyway and am on the verge of getting a new one... CAPE
21 here Snow pack frozen solid. Probably some icy spots on the side roads this morning as I don't think there was any wind last evening to dry things up as the temp fell below freezing.
