southmdwatcher
Back to moderate snow with larger flakes. Accumulating on side streets again that had become just wet. Check out the bitter cold air in west central Canada.....Calgary -20F, Edmonton -45F and Saskatoon -40 F. Huge area of vodka cold moving southward. These temps taken from GREarth hourly metar. I am hoping I can hang onto this for a while, but the better lift is probably going to focus more to my east. Unless the heavier banding gets here this will be below the forecast of 3 to 6 . Currently about 1.25 inches. Happy for you !

Herb@MAWS
It's events like this when I rationalize to myself "at least it'll be easy to shovel" -- if I even have to shovel at all! Temp has rebounded slightly from 33 to 34 with lighter rates and higher ceilings/slightly brighter skies.

osfan24
Basically white rain for the past couple of hours. Areas of the street and driveway that were covered are now melting and turning to slush. Congrats to those that got the good banding for long periods of time. Some of you might end up close to 6 inches.
Snowfan96
Remember that when temps are marginal - especially after a mild couple days - elevation is a very important factor. Throw the snow total maps out and focus on climo, low level temps, elevation, and banding.
