Ravens94
Very late to the party HRRR drops another 2-4 N and NE of the city. Shows banding for the next 4 hours Good DGZ
SomeguyfromTakomaPark
Well this has been a fun little event. About what I expected based on my climo which is an inch or two of slop, but pretty to look at and I sure won’t say no to more events like this.

mattie g
Measured about 1.00” in Burke 30 minutes ago. I can imagine it didn’t accumulate for a little bit because of the early rain, and that there’s been a lot of compaction because of the liquid content, but it’s really pretty out, so that’s cool.
aldie 22
I'm still trying to learn the Sykesville area for storms...I pretty much know leesburg like the back of Ji's neck but here not so much...like I'm stunned Columbia and Ellicott city aren't getting what I'm getting now...literally 15 minutes away
gymengineer
This outcome is like a somewhat warmer version of 12/5/09. The MoCo banding even matches pretty well to that event.

cigrgd
FWIW, the HRRR absolutely nailed this event last night in Upstate South Carolina. 2-6" north of I-85. Caught GSP completely off guard. It looks like they'll outperform us.

CAPE
Beautiful dendrites here now. Temp at 33. Ground is whitening quickly despite 3 hours of freaking rain. Hopefully it keeps going like this for a while. I am not looking at radar or a short range model. Just looking out the window at what is transpiring, and enjoying whatever I get.
BlizzardNole
Winding down in the Milestone UHI with only an inch on grass. Pretty pathetic compared to the expected 4-6 as of last night. I wish we could get just one event this winter that meets expectations and is not a fraction of the expected amount going in. I'm not holding my breath. psuhoffman
Sometimes radar doesn’t seem to do this area justice. vastateofmind
Woke up to find last night's expectations fully realized -- a downgrade to WWA and forecast of 1-3" this morning. Not even buying that. Currently 34/32, mixed snow/rain.

Wonderdog
Bigger flakes beginning to fall in Gainesville, still 31. I fear the changeover is near. Some small pockets of random rain have popped up on radar west of Culpepper. Looking forward to the overrunning to begin on Thursday.
NattyBo
Amazingly huge flakes and good rates in Rockville still, but it seems like it’s not sticking as well now as it was around 730-8. Baltimorewx
Light mix still in Dundalk. I know I’m in minority but last Sunday was much better than this despite the crappy rates. At least things accumulated immediately
mdhokie
eastern hoco getting robbed by western hoco. got about an inch and mod snow falling. death band setup a little too far west. its sticking to everything so at least its pretty out. SomeguyfromTakomaPark
There is no disappointment for me on this one. I’ll put this in the “know your climate” bucket. Storm racing up the coast after a 50 degree day. Everyone should know what to expect with that. I’m happy to watch some big fatties falling and things briefly whiten up.
