Yeah it seems like we end up sniffing the fumes of these bands more often than not. Maybe it’ll actually swing west to east through our area this time.

NorthArlington101
Maybe an inch in Charlottesville? Probably a bit less. Gonna work up the enthusiasm to take a jebwalk in a few.
wolfpackwxDC
Just woke up and it is absolutely puking fat flakes here in western Arlington. Grass and cars covered. Street and sidewalk, sort of covered. Looks like we are under the band at the moment! Currently 32.5 and so far, .24 through the rain gauge.

Well, all you have to do is look at the traffic cameras. There is clearly a nasty UHL effect in the cities. Elevation seems to help in the immediate suburbs north of Washington DC, and northern part of Baltimore Beltway some, but this storm is what it is, and it's not hard to see if you just look at easily available and accurate traffic cameras https://chart.maryland.gov/trafficcameras/index.php

ErinInTheSky
It sounds like it’s raining outside the snow is coming down so hard. The flakes are absolutely massive.
MillvilleWx
Hope y'all are enjoying the snow today. It may not have been the 6-10" potential a few days ago, but snow is snow. Especially during a day like Super Bowl Sunday. Sit back, grab a cup of joe, and watch the parachutes fall if you got'em. Enjoy 26
