Probably no reports there though. I need to become a spotter. There’s no one near me. Akron might be the closest.

We could have easily seen 20"+ without the winds. Whenever we see high winds in the forecast for LES event we know to cut totals by 25-30%. Saw the 7.8” in South Buffalo (just from the lake event) and I really gotta wonder where that spotter is located. We got transitioned bad here with this storm. Picked up an inch Friday night but I was struggling to hit 3” of new snow on Saturday. Band flew over me when it slid north. Really think if the winds weren’t so strong that band wouldn’t have camped out so far south overnight and would have been up in my neck of the woods like the NWS was forecasting. Glad the boys up north got some action. Nice it’s finally wintery like outside. Cold, nice coating of snow, getting a fresh coating every 1-2 days. A good old fashion winter! TugHillMatt
Meh. I hope your Canadians are wrong. Radar watching time... Looks like plenty of moisture over the Western portion of Lake Ontario. Lots of returns showing up...seems there is more moisture around than models are showing. Perhaps many of us outside the main band can get a few inches of fluff. wolfie09
Yeah I'll be out the main band myself but I should get a taste every once in a while lol

DeltaT13
Interesting and somewhat unusual little bloom of lake enhanced precip popping up. I think I can see a meso low moving parallel to the shore which seems to be intensifying. Or maybe its my imagination.
