And I’m wondering if that’s where it stays for a while. In my point click it states the heaviest snows are in my area then shift to the southtowns. I’ll take 6 hours of heavy snow and be happy

Again my issue with that placement puts it in the hills south of the southtowns...I believe you’ll see snow though...also Niagara Falls US is reporting Moderate snow

You can't get high totals with granular bands as we're seeing right now. Hopefully it tightens up in next few hours. Not chasing until we get one solid band with consistent yellows showing up. BuffaloWeather
Looks like its tightening up a little on radar last few frames, I don't like how granular the snow looks out over the lake. Clearly the wind is causing havoc with bands development.

Buffalo Bumble
Looks good on Grand Island at the moment. Pretty dark returns there. Seems to be ripping on webcams, tough to tell for sure in the dark though. Hoping for a slowwwww crawl south so everyone gets a decent hit. Buffalo Bumble
Snow starting to pick up here as the northeast end of the lake is filling in. Wind really just started to crank too, maybe the “edge of band” wind effect that’s common. I’m guessing I’ll see cellular bursts for a while so don’t expect it to pile up too quickly. SouthBuffaloSteve
DP thinking band will move more south and total could be a bit high. Also concerned about wind shear...
