There is cold air near by Tuesday so need the high to be displaced a bit farther West as the parent low of the one you posted has an easy path North East.  It will gain latitude too quickly with the low being that far East.  Better placed high and we have a Snow Storm sweeping in.

I am not giving up. LOL.

I don’t care if it hits 70 as long as I see snowpack. As of 1/2 hr ago Etown has plenty left to snowmobile tonight.  (and I saw fresh tracks from this morning). All I care about.
I wanna go tonight at home and wife just asked me out on a date. Ughhh. Running outta time.

Nut you will soon be able to Mudmobile. :D

I have officially hit 12 hours of usable daylight today.  If there's one downside of winter, it's that dark at 5:00 PM crap.

Actual Time
6:47 AM
5:52 PM
Civil Twilight
6:20 AM
6:20 PM

Totally agree...except for snow days I am not a fan of the less sun time either.    I remember getting home from school and (in the 70's and 80's) and thinking I might as well go to bed as it was dark already and I did not have the internet to waste my mind.

Cannot relate - I enjoy nice weather and being outside, but I can do what I want with the daylight we get in November and December. I LOVE when it's dark by 5pm.

Different things for different people. :)

I got grass showing by the tree line edge of my property, fortunately it’s on the neighbor’s side lol.

It’s def warm. KAOO at 54°F but the local meso obs in town are near 60°F

The last couple years, these same discussions were being had in December and January :-).

As I'm relatively new to the arthritis deal, i was wondering how much cold accentuates it.  I have to say I too notice a diff in my hands today.  Not great but better.  If theres truth to it, thats not gonna help my love of snow in the years to come.....sh!t.

Well.... 4 years ago at this time Capital City airport was sitting at 80 degrees, and 3 years ago they hit 83 on Feb 21st... talk about snowpack killer... felt terrible for Ski Roundtop... and yet, both years there was sweet redemption on the mountain in March.   Lets do it again!

From your place north there's notably more snow cover than south...along the river between Columbia and Conestoga it's obliterated. Still a fair amount of snow up this way in protected places.

Yea the field in front of me and as far a can see south to up to Klinesville Rd still snow. The southern exposure always melts my yard faster in full sun.

Hauling water in the 50s and 60s probably beats dealing with snow!

It sure does!

I'm actually at Lancaster Tank Wash for a sanitation right now, and I'm surprised at how little snow is left on the ground here. Lots of pure bare areas around, not just the south facing slopes.

Nice sunset tonight. Can't see most of it, though...
