crossbowftw3
Can we talk about how downright staggering of a storm next week be for almost everyone east of the continental divide if what some of these model inputs at least came partially true?
BuffaloWeather
End of UKMET is a big dog, someone is getting a massive storm out of this. This track reminds me of March 2008

Yeah, the last one was like that and the LES mostly a no show for several of us. Now the weekend system looks like crap also. I see a trend.

Thinksnow18
Even the lake effect lovers at KBUF have that storm on their radar. This must have some legs...oh and they did say several inches for the Saturday night-Sunday timeframe but said it should fall short of warning criteria...they mentioned the Tuesday storm as “shovelable”...I guess 5 or so inches isn’t worth it... Yeah, hoping we don't have a "cheerleader effect" here where we have a good total projected snowfall with an active pattern, but each individual event is a nickel-dimer that doesn't really pan out. Pronounced comma shape, big plume of moisture with snow on the N/W side, big mix zone (I lived in CT and got hammered by sleet before it changed over), line of thunderstorms stretching past Florida. A lot of similarities. Of course, it'll probably disappear tomorrow.
