It's a quick warm-up, snowpack will survive.. Looking cold for the foreseeable future, hopefully we keep piling on..

Agreed. Two days of sunshine and milder temps at this point are welcome IMBY.  This is no torch, just a respite. And I get to wear my sunglasses when  driving for a change!

Icon with a light snow event Tuesday and a bigger potential Friday..

The next week looks utterly confusing at this point. Sun, Tues, Fri, plus various LES possibilities. I'm just rolling with whatever happens at this point, figuring I'll nickel and dine my way to last year's #weaksauce 87" total.

3-6' snow depths in the dacks. Let's get it up to 10 feet. I'm going to plan a trip for March.

High Peaks Trail Conditions (2/5-7): This week's storm brought a foot of snow to trailheads in the High Peaks Wilderness. Backcountry snowpacks now range from 3-6 feet with summits and some valley areas exceeding those figures. Snowshoes and/or skis are required for anyone recreating in the High Peaks at this time.
