Synoptic Snowstorm 2/1-2/4

Whew. It looks like the band made it here for several hours, but really did peter out so that those just west are probably still waiting. About 4 inches in the last several hours and the snow has tapered to light snow. Judging from King's pictures, Caz has way more snow than N. Onondaga.

May need to rely on the lake getting involved again to actually get a "Synoptic storm" of over 6 inches.

Sanity still here, but on life support. :D

The snow has picked up in intensity in the last few minutes. We’ll see how long this lasts. After the burst of heavy snow between 5-8 AM the rest of this morning has been snow of varying intensity. Probably getting close to 4 inches for the storm. Another thing is the lack of wind right now. I would expect it to pick up later with hopefully some lake enhancement.

I am quickly learning Syracuse sucks synoptically. I expressed my concerns about this a couple days ago and some said downsloping doesn't occur here.

WNW winds are the only thing that seem to be able to produce here

I’m telling you, it killed it in the 90’s-2015, I dont know
