BWI is on the verge of doing something it's never done in our history of keeping records. They have not recorded a total of at least 8 inches of snow in a single month in four consecutive winters. If they don't do it before Spring comes this year, it will be 5 consecutive, which has NEVER been done. So that's... something.

Psssst- that kind of post should be preserved in the futility thread.

Mount Storm WV. At the lake. About 10 air miles due south of Garrett Co

Bayard coop reported a snow depth of 17” this morning so your guess was pretty close.  I have a lot of relatives in the Mount Storm - Elk Garden area.  Driving to my grandmas house as a child, I can remember the vast difference in weather leaving Keyser.  It’s one of the things that got me into loving the weather to begin with.  Corridor H has really changed the area.

24 degrees with frz dz and a few snow grains. Everything is iced and frozen over with an eighth of an inch of ice. I am sliding on the road and on the grasses and dirt! Every surface is ice! Wind chill is about 5 with northeastern gusts to 27 mph. Feels a lot like Dale City in January.

I will keep you all updated.

I remember reading in past years of your Jebwalk reports in Dale City, often at night, on the rare occasion(s) that we'd get similar icy conditions in these parts. Glad you're getting to enjoy some of that down in TX.  :)

I just might have to order a military transport to bring all the Mid Atlantic contingent down here lol. This weather happening here in South Central Texas is beyond surreal.

I am taking a table I got for $40 for a games table. I am working on painting it with milk paint and do a Steampunk theme. Hope to have it done the end of this week. :D

@Thanatos_I_Am -- go back a number of pages in banter to earlier this week, @Mrs.J posted some in-progress pics of her project. It's an awesome repurposing and refinishing of a game table...and as I mentioned earlier, the drawer pulls on it are particularly cool from a thematic standpoint.  :)

Here is the registry all placed and ready to paint tomorrow. I may even have it all finished by tomorrow. Minus the gear pulls on the side.

20 degrees with all sleet, very fine stuff that the wind is blowing all over the place. Its gonna be tough to measure. Winds are north to 30 mph. Wind chill is about 5 above zero. So surreal down here in the Deep South.

I'd be irritated reading this post from anyone other than you, Jeb. I have been to Austin TX in July and I was cooked to my core in minutes in the midday sun there. And now you all get wintry precip at a colder temp than I've gotten any this whole season. Awesome, but damn it.

You may not realize this just yet, but winter is gonna get awesome there this season. This arctic airmass is just getting started. The Greenland Block ain't going nowhere. Not for weeks and weeks.
