I'm ready for a nice gully washer.  After 3 years of dealing with a flooding basement and trying to solve the problem via landscaping, sloping terrain away from house, improving drainage, etc I gave up and got a sump pump/french drain system installed.  Now I can go ahead and root for the heaviest rain possible and not have to worry about my basement.

Down to 30.  The model guidance gives me an average of 0.3" this evening/overnight.  Curious to see what happens when I'm in the heavies.

Be careful dude. You might get Short Pump'd tonight. Shelter in place. Hopefully with a perfectly cured nug of Gelato Cake

31/30. Snow has a nice ice crust right now. If I can chill around 32 all night the snow might survive. But I worried about a temp spike tomorrow before the cold comes in. It’s often not the rain that kills my pack it’s the 6 hours of warm when dewpoints spike after the storm if we get into the warm sector.

It's pouring here at 34F.  $#@%^&* RAIN!!!   .37" already, most of it in the last 30 mins.  Solid line of yellow and red returns on NWS radar all the way to SC and OTS.  The way it's training, would not be surprised if Sterling puts up some special stmts.

Edit - Flood Warnings already popping up in central VA.
