Henry's Weather
RGEM once again proved to be a good mesoscale model in these types of situations.

For a compound like that up there, I'd prob have a heavy duty one and then a little smaller one that can handle all the small to moderate powder events you get. They have some real good battery ones for the deck, Do some homework on them before you buy, Your not going to be able to skimp up there, I'm thinking 80v packs are the way to go. WinterWolf
I’m going with 16” here in Southington CT. as a Total. Might have been a tad more but I’d rather be on the less aggressive side. @The 4 Seasons What a great storm. At about 35.5” for the season here now. Hope there is more to come.

At least it insulates the ground. I had about 6. Denser than I thought. Good base pack for the rest of the winter given the extended forecast. Oddly, I didn’t feel angry or jealous or frustrated even though we only got 6 inches in the storm. I’m glad all the others got it and I’m kind of happy to have something that I can walk in. And it’s really beautiful, the way it’s stuck to everything in the trees in the woods
