Just a pure blizzard up here on the water in Cape Elizabeth.  Lord knows how heavily its snowing because the temp is 26 and the wind is 25G40, so its nothing but drifts and bare ground and smashed up dendrites suspended in a thick haze.

My first storm here and it's awesome

Sort of wet. Maybe 1.3”. Tough one to swallow, but it was bound to Happen.

I really thought you’d get like 6-8”. Like a Slightly better version of 2/13/14...but just a smidge too much marine influence i guess. Kind of sucks this one couldn’t be a few degrees colder so that there were fewer screw zones.

Well, I WILL say this:  The Storm broke 2 records for me.  And I’ve been driving for 2 hours.

WORST ROAD CONDITIONS I’VE EVER SEEN!!  6” on highways, 10” on on/off ramps!!  Worse than 12/13/2007

Tied for Hardest Falling Snow I’ve ever seen!!  (That yellow band over the Attleboro area an hour ago).

Now I have NO idea what I got, I’ll have to go by the NWS guy that lives in my town that keeps stealing my reports for the NWS, and Fozz.  But to see people get 4 Hours of 3” per hour, which I’ve only seen 4 times in my life, in a storm I got almost NOTHING in??  Hurts real bad.  Real bad.

Yeah what can you do. I’m glad you guys got smoked. Just watching radar was druel worthy. This was like the perfect setup. Almost like 495 put up a giant 10,000ft wall and made it converge haha. I’m sure the CF helped a tad too. But classic 700 back bent front with screaming east flow just north of it.

Still having a lot of fun here in Hampton. Probably only got 8” roughly so far, but the conditions overall have been wild. Been borderline blizzard conditions for several hours now. Roads are getting buried with the wind just blowing any snow removed right back on.

I drove to North Smithfield, RI then to Past Gillette on Rte. 1.  Everything is Soaked here in Attleboro.

I’m trying to figure out: HOW, For a Storm that NEVER changed to even sheet, let alone Rain, Fought the Hellish R/S Line off....

STILL end up being the BIGGEST Underperformed of My Life??  It stated 100% Snow.  And it looks like 3” fell in Northern RI.  Crap wet globby snow too.

Just curious, how do you sight your visibility at night?  I have a power pole with a light on it almost exactly 1/4 mi from my house.  So daytime I know when it is SN+ but at night if the light is becoming faint how do I call it?  I'm not pressing for an answer just wondering what people do.
