Yikes, wind is absolutely roaring now

Power is back now, it was gone for maybe a half hour and meanwhile I took a little drive across the area. So much fun.

The heavy band is just sitting over me and it keeps pounding. Total opposite of earlier this evening when the +SN went out of its way to avoid my area.

Pretty hard to be able to measure this.

Many open areas are still 4-8 inches deep, but the drifts are 1 or 2 feet deep in places, with lesser drifts also around.

I’m definitely betting my little river canyon location is among the lower totals for the state.

Better to be on the low end of measuring anyway but do you have a wooded property or blocked/obstructed at all?

1.35 acres partially wooded.

My wife thinks that since we are on a slope the snow blows off somehow.

It's odd cause in Norwalk it was always the opposite. Always the highest.
