I measured 22.5" in the wee hours of the morning last night, and I know there was some compaction going on throughout the event.

Ironically, I'm currently stuck at a hotel in Nazareth after my truck's transmission gave out late Monday night in Easton, PA, where I documented this major event. That 36.1" total looks very spurious to me. There's still over 20" on the ground, after today's melting and compaction...so I certainly believe there was 30". However, I feel pretty confident that figure that just so happens to eek out a full 3' isn't accurate. That aside, I want to congratulate all the full-time residents, here, who experienced a truly memorable event, themselves!:)

Newman
Anytime you get over 18" you'll start mixing reports of people who use the "clean-the-board" method and those who just measure directly on the ground. That can inflate or deflate totals substantially, especially places like KABE where it was over 2 feet. Either way, 26" was the final here. 39" on the season

weathernut85
cant believe we might pick up another coating or so today, this little enhanced area of snow showers over the Philly metro is really something now that we’re 72 hours after the first WAA
zenmsav6810
For this being a true bonafide 4-parter now this might have over taken 2016 as one of my top storms even though my backyard received far less snow. I seem to remember similar scattered snow showers following PD2 in 2003 for a few days. Of course '96 had the Norlun event after the fact.
