ChasingFlakes
1.1" sleet since I cleared the board at 11pm last night when it switched to sleet. 0.5" in 2 hours for 0.25"/hr rates of sleet right now. 4.5" storm total. March 2017 vibes, again.

Heisy
I may sleet all the way up here in dover nj, well not before up to 2 feet, but shows how far n and undermodeled it is
Dodsworth
Someone should call NWS and tell them about the sleet thing...
Hurricane Agnes
Last surface map. Still sleet/snow/rain mix here and temp now up to 30. All I can say is "Miller Bs are gonna Miller B". When I see models all over the map, I say "must be a Miller B". I think we are at a "warmer" part of the day too so may still get a back-end thump to make up for it in the sleet zones late this afternoon and overnight, especially if that low gets cut off.
drexelkathy
I would even be happy to see sleet at this point. This dry slot sucks. LOL

Heaviest returns now well W, sleet line pushing n and w, dry slot moving into lower Bucks. At this point hoping a turn snow by 4 pm and we fluff a few inches. 1

I don't have high hopes either even up here. Getting harder and harder any more to have a classic snowstorm...

Yes man, I woke up late today and looked at the radar and immediately said wow holy crap this thing busted. I looked at the radar and got sick, you can tell that that banding is going to pivot north west of us. This will be year three without a good storm, it’s amazing how every time we have a set up at somehow collapses at the last moment...

Joshb32689
Question on the CC radar, does that line changing yellows to maroon moving northwest through the edge of Delco correspond to a change from sleet back to snow, or would that be freezing rain incoming? Not quite sure how to read those maps fully
Ralph Wiggum
The sleet is spreading N and W still. Really unbelievable....well, not really. We can only hope that there will be one last surprise for the good as it wobbles S the SE before pulling away for us in the sleet zone.
