CoolHandMike
Enjoyed a hot cup of coffee from my backyard shed. Still chucking down huge mammoth flakes mixed in with pingers.
The Iceman
Back to sleet in Hopewell. Still think we ll probably get a foot due the duration but the real big totals are going to be in the lehigh valley. I bet my area down through se pa doesn't flip until late afternoon. Going to waste a lot of qpf as sleet.

hazwoper
all I can think is that the low is much closer and tucked in then proged at this point. Perhaps that helps us on the back end, but this is depressing. 3
Hurricane Agnes
1 minute ago, ChasingFlakes said: More like 13 hours of sleet and counting. This. I had finally gone to bed last night around 11ish but woke up just after midnight to hear the sleet up against my windows and woke up again at 3 am and still sleet. Got up around 4:15 am and sleet. There was a brief period when the precip did stop early this morning, but that didn't last too long. Currently a mix of sleet/snow/FZRA (heavier on the sleet side) and 29.
RedSky
Too my eyes the coastal appears only 30 miles off AC obviously the cause of the warm levels and sleet You don't want to see it closer than 50-75 miles
ChescoWx
Still heavy IP mixed with some snow - 0.8" of IP and snow during the past hour - storm total now at 7.0" of snow/IP
The Iceman
Every time there is a prolonged fetch off the ocean the sleet line shoots n and w. Happens every time around here, no matter if there is a huge high to the north or not. Usually there's a model that shows it though that we dismiss but not this time. I don't expect things to go back to snow around here until the pivot unfortunately. Hope I'm wrong..
