Due to temps this should be more impactful either way. Plus it's not a holiday. Cancel school! Wait it's already at home. Still this is going to be more trouble due to the cold temps. Actually, Washington County schools are back in person (5 days a week)................... starting tomorrow.

fountainguy97
Going to be a slow dance but you can see it slowly coming together. We will get that upper level energy diving and consolidating tmrw which will pivot and rotate that moisture through TN. Great tap from the Great Lakes. This certainly looks like it can produce the totals we are seeing on models. 1
BNAwx
I’ve determined if I want to see good snow that I need to have a cabin in the mountains or at the least a little house in Fentress County if I want to be closer...

Kentucky
JKL usually isn't that bullish for NW flow here in Corbin, and for good reason. We shall see how this plays out

Shocker0
There is literally no snow within 100 miles of the radar here but...I looked outside for the heck of it before bed. Coming down steady.
Shocker0
One more before bed...looks like it could be a good system since it's not picking up on radar anywhere nearby even.
Wintersnow888
Same here Shocker0....and it's 29 degrees hardly any wind to speak of, although earlier it was quite gusty. Flakes are small but steady and nothing much on radar that I can see....
John1122
Much like the Crossville obs, snowing here but nothing on the radar at all. Snow growth zone must be fairly low. 31 degrees.
McMinnWx
Snowing here. Snow sounds like pellets coming down. 34 degrees, DP 31
TellicoWx
Woke up to a surprise from MRX...added to the WWA (even tho I'm not quite sure of the logic behind the expansion). As far as winter weather headlines...added Monroe and the mountain zone of Polk County to the advisory for consistency with FFC as well as increased snow totals in those areas. Radar is looking great over that way. 20-25dbz is pretty good in this setup. Temp down to 30.9. Super small flakes but a billion of them. Roads white. PowellVolz
This is already more than I expected with a heavy dusting to 1/2”. Temps are a couple of degrees colder I believe and that’s probably making a huge difference. .
Holston_River_Rambler
Just a dusting on elevated surfaces here. I think I'm occasionally getting a little downslope off of Frozen Head, depending on the flow. Looks like there's been some lee side convergence? for areas in the valley to the lee of the Frozen Head mts.
