jm1220
This could be one of the very rare storms that drop 12”+ in both State College PA and NYC. Central Park has 17.2” and reports around State College are just shy of 12” and there’s still snow falling there.

gravitylover
I don't know what to do with the measurement for this one. If I had a decent place to measure every 6 hours, the wind was insane, I probably would have had near 30" total. As it is my property goes from 2" > 40" with the median at 23" (at 7am). Since about 7pm it has been a mix of heavy wet snow, crystals, grains, freezing mist and nearly sunny so the compaction is impressive and its down to about 15" now. Total shoveling time (so far) is just under 10 hours, driveway banks are well over my head which is always cool, just waiting for the town plow to fill in the end of the driveway again when they come to move the banks back

SnoSki14
All that sleet following the 18" has turned the pack into a glacier. Really tough to shovel. With the coming cold and more snow likely this pack will last for a while.

kat5hurricane
Still snowing lightly in Whitestone, ended up with around 14" and a mountain of snow to dig out around my car. I thought the models did very well nailing down the snow distribution. Most were targeting North Central Jersey and Eastern PA with the highest totals for days outside of the Nam which had a NYC/L.I. jackpot for a time on Saturday I believe. Yes overall a very good performance. And recognizing the setup beforehand made it clear the jackpot would be in N NJ and S NY but other places could still do very well.
