Voyager
Woke up about 4am, and it was barely snowing. Fast forward to 7am, and it's snowing like crazy now. I have a "so far" total of 4.75 to 5 inches, but it's starting to get windy and blow around a little. I can't wait to see what we all end up with, which model (not the Canadians...lol) verifies, and who ends up with the region's jackpot!
Blizzard of 93
The 6z Euro doesn’t have nearly as much QPF or snow as the 6z GFS & NAMs for the LSV. Which model will win? It’s time to watch the low track & radar and see how it unfolds today.
pawatch
I haven't been out yet appears to be 6-8" and snowing hard. still hydrating with coffee. About time to go fire the tractor up and keep ahead of it.

Voyager
Now on all these models, I should know but I want to double check, the totals they are depicting, they start from the current time (run time start) until the end of the event, correct? Blizzard of 93
Harrisburg (MDT) reported 4.6 inches of snow as of Midnight. If they get the 7 inches of snow from the “Expected Snow” map, then that would put the event total at 11.6, which would be a close match to our December snowstorm total.

Jns2183
The HRRR certainty has trended our way. Realistically I can see MDT getting anywhere from 5” to 14” and they all seem just about as likely. .

At times the flakes are almost dime sized again. I don't know if their rimed with ice as in being close to flipping to sleet, but they made a lot of noise on my jacket when they hit. I did a video segment, and it sounded like it was raining when I played it back.
