Maestrobjwa
Oof...the WSW drought continues (for now)...kinda, lol I'd imagine with even with a backend of the backend of the ccb, Baltimore should get to 5 inches, you'd think...

T. August
I’m kinda glad the precip shut off. The mix line has passed me anyway. The snow is done.
clskinsfan
Another .4 in the past hour. 6.1 for the event so far. Still snowing but that back edge is coming in quick. Looks like a pretty lengthy lull is coming overnight. Would love 6 more tomorrow for a foot plus.

The precip has been training west to east along the MD PA border all day. 5”+ obs are likely quite common between Manchester and Frederick along that latitude right now

Since I am going to report the results, I have kept track of the totals otherwise, It hasn't been a fun storm by any means. At least not for me. Typical miller B event. Can't believe I spent so much time tracking this system. Sigh, them's the breaks I guess. We definitely busted low relative to almost all the models, maybe the 3k NAM was close? How about that canadian, lmao. If it makes you feel any better we only got 2" up here in Germantown well NW of the city and we're done. My forecast was 6-8 and my low end was 4". Huuuuuuuge bust. My thinking is we had a chance on Dec. 16 and failed and we had this chance and failed miserably again. We will not get another chance in a Nina winter. We're done

vastateofmind
Currently 30.2, with a steady snizzle coming down. Things getting pretty crunchy out there. Though I didn't officially measure, we probably got just over 3" late this morning, but much of it has compacted through the afternoon. Hey....it snowed.

Warm Nose
I've gotta say it's been snowing in varying intensities since 5a here. Never completely stopped. It's not jackpot accumulations but honestly this is a pretty enjoyable storm. Just snows and snows. Almost prefer this over the 6-hour thump.
