Heaviest band of the day just moved through.  Just shy of 3" new snow.

Unique snow day....not too often you see precip move toward you from the SE, E, NE and now almost due north all in a 12hr period and only rack up 3" of snow.

Surprised. thought you would of had more than that.

Although I guess I am about 10 or so miles north of you. Im very close to the pa line.

Really impressed with the models that had bands making it all the way back toward Dc today. They never backed down from that idea and it came to fruition. The GFS was definitely out to lunch on the 12 inches in Baltimore today idea, but it had the right overall idea with evolution. Going to be interesting to see how this all plays out in the next few hours.

ctrl-c -> ctrl-v  from the last observation (cut-n-paste).  Repeat of the same ole stuff in our neighborhood ever since the lull kicked in yesterday morning...  pixie dust.  Congrats to those to are getting dumped on.

You are about to get some nice snow man. Radar looks good.

Just a hair too far south for the consolidated bands of mod/hvy snow from earlier.  Lt/mod all day here with a few bursts of heavier snow.

Friend of mine just over the line in PA measured 13"

Back to moderate snow in bel air

Bands are really growing fast.

Appears to be a atlantic tap to it. Goes all the way to the jersey shore

Really hoping that stuff up north near Lancaster pivots into Carroll county and we don’t get clipped by that dry slot
