Most of today was sleet with light freezing drizzle, then some fine-grain snow toward mid-afternoon. Good crust of ice on top of yesterday's snow; it's really slick in places. They never backed down from that idea and it came to fruition. The GFS was definitely out to lunch on the 12 inches in Baltimore today idea, but it had the right overall idea with evolution.
