It's subsidence behind this band.  Have to see what else can rotate through.

I'm not sure what else we will get, but just in general over the entire Northeast, it looks like the intensity and coverage is waning quite a bit. I think NYC and Philly might even be basically winding down.

Earlier had icy snizzle and freezing rain (great for night time skating rinks). Snow has picked up, winds SSE. TV snow, but at least its visible. Current temp at 33 degrees. Don't know if the bands will make it to DC but hope springs eternal.

One of the neighbors made a big snowman from clearing their driveway.

What a waste of a storm in the immediate metro. Both yesterday and today. Total underperformer while the entire NE coast rocked. This ranks up there with the blizzard of 78 and Boxing Day.

I disagree.  I love looking out my back doors and seeing snow falling on snow in my yard, even if it’s light.  I’ll take this 100% of the time.

Yeah that band created a large area of extremely light frozen mist.

LOL. I had like 25 legit flakes. At least I know the column is right now.

Time to track the next semi-fail event. This is too low probability to bother with. Maybe I wake up in the morning to a fresh coating. Maybe not. Not worth investing anymore time looking at models that show 2,3,4...6 inches. Maybe we see an inch between tonight and later tomorrow. 'That has been my call. I will stick with it.

You know how it is brother. It’s Warning snow or nothing for some

No, it’s relative to what is going on a stone’s throw away. 2 inch clippers are great.  2 inches, drizzle and puddles when nearby places are in double digits... much less great.
