Looks my I80 north call was a good one and follows the persistence of winter storms this season. Though I do look to miss the heaviest swath, I'm hoping I can manage a few hours of heavy rates on the WAA band before changing over. Starting to look like that will be the biggest producer with this system vs the usual deformation zone. I see another dry slot could impact areas I80 south after the WAA wing precip. Forgot about those two storms dropping double digit snow in CR. Anyways, DVN being conservative and saying only 4 to 6 inches of snow will fall north of US 30 on Saturday. The derecho is something I don't ever want to go through again, especially with all the trees decimated and houses damaged beyond repair, not to mention being without power for 9 days. Very fortunate to not lose our roof or suffer major structural damage.

Brian D
Even I'll end up with some here on the shore of Lake Superior. Red dot my locale.
