We keep getting little bursts of heavier snow with nice well formed flakes.  Temp has also dropped slightly below freezing after being a degree or two above all day and the snow that was having trouble sticking to the grass is now starting to stick to the pavement.  There does appear to be some ocean enhancement going on.

Finally dipped below freezing here as well, and yes, best snow growth of the day

Rates have definitely picked up over the last 20 minutes, visibility down.

I’m not sure how that’s happening because the radar is sparse, but that tells me this thing is blossoming a bit

Sleeting at Bronx/Yonkers border so maybe you’re getting some enhancement just north of the sleet line

Wantage NJ 8 s High Point: had 0.5" in 6 hours topped with a little freezing drizzle.  now snow has started again at 330P 27/26.

Route 206 into southern Sussex County NJ through 145P was about the same, a couple degrees warmer in Byram, just n of I80. TreatEd roads were wet except once in a while slush covered in the short showery bursts of snow. Untreated roads are being plowed up here in Wantage. (that's the way it is done here).

Just took measurement.  Total 1".  Everything covered including roads in my little traveled neighborhood.

Temperature currently 26 with some light freezing drizzle.

Event performed pretty much as expected along and north of I78.  I was expecting some 2" to even a bit more over the higher terrain of

Sussex but waiting to see some reports - nothing that I've seen so far of 1"+.

Thanks for the report from Sussex County high ground.  Might not see many obs of 1"+ from this event.

Really thought some 2-3" amounts would of shown up around your area of Sussex.
