quick note on the plumes and fwiw, a few of those non-events at ORD are rainers and there are more big dogs at MKE than ORD

I like seeing MKE  in the game while other models hint sound. Historically this bodes well for ORD and Lake enhancements set up

Yup.. Thankfully we have a cap on how far north snow can creep up.  Gotta  shed that se trend as we get closer to go time at some point. This storm might not be the best candidate to break that  SE trend phenomenon with the elephant in the room to the north.

Your not going to have large snowfall rates with the lack of arctic air. This is not a historically impressive setup. The Euro is too far northwest, which with its bias, makes sense.

Lol. It's almost as if arctic air doesnt tend to hold moisture very well and the region's historically biggest storms have happened with temps 25-30 degrees.

Rejecting the fact that to even get a big storm, you need an airmass capable of holding moisture. Arctic air aint it.

Nope, you need it at the surface and warmer up above, that is what creates big storms in this kind of setup. You don't got it kid. Period. Your just being a weenie and hoping for the over amped solutions verify. When they don't, you will complain and call names at the Euro for its tech issues.

You're*** tyvm

The real treasure was never the snow but the friends and shared memories we made along the way

Again, show a phase that brings the snow outside GEFS/EPS runs that are programmed with the "what if". The energy doesn't look that strong frankly. That is the problem. Without phasing, your sunk boy.

lol.

You dont need phasing to have a big storm. Like wow you are really going to fall on your sword with this one. GHD 2015 wasn't a phased system and I got 15" of snow. Or was i just imagining that snow storm.
