Ericjcrash
Should be subzero 3 nights in row starting tonight. The Mohawk is basically in my backyard interested to see how icy it gets.

vortmax
Some GB moisture starting to move in to the west end of LO. Anyone care to explain why there's a cloud gap to the NW of Roc but not further to the west? Seems odd to me.

CNY-LES FREAK
I could of told u that the GFS would eventually go the other way then it'll come back to it's original idea like it always does. Actually I'm happy the GFS is almost a whiff cause if we were in the JP, it usually doesn't bode well!Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
CNY-LES FREAK
Temps are pretty marginal too. Will likely be sloppy. Nah, I think they'll drop as the DP's should be quite low but we'll see!Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk
Stash
Just now, Thinksnow18 said: Wow that’s remarkable compared to yesterday Not terribly atypical for that model. It can be good at sniffing out ideas, but it can have some wild swings at this juncture. I'd have to go back and check, but at one point in the mid-December storm it had me go from 30" to 0" or vice-versa in one run. I think it eventually had the better idea closer to start time. TugHillMatt
The most consistent thing this season has been how AWFUL the models have been.

The synoptic pattern just isn't working out for us. These primaries with transfers to the coast often have so many issues with them. Wish we could see some of the deep coastal systems of the 90s that move due north along the coast.
