TugHillMatt
Like I mentioned earlier...want it more NORTH than West. West doesn't do much in reducing these dry pockets/downsloping. Need deeper moisture.
tim123
Does look to be showing some look of enhanced precip on south shore.

yankees102110
Models seem to have a screw zone setting up over Fulton/Montgomery counties on east a tad.

Yeah, 4" drive 15 min S/SW and you get a foot. While certainly possible I'd expect anymore subtle gradient in this setup. I've done pretty well so far so if I get screwed I really couldn't be too bitter but to have higher totals in every other direction would be tough. tim123
Odd when do you ever see 2 systems past to our west and we snow. That second system is a candidate for high winds.
wolfie09
If it is downsloping it would most likely be from the adirondacks..The wind does seem quite"northerly"

TugHillMatt
The 00Z models are really pushing on the downsloping off the Tug in Oswego County and possibly northern Onondaga.

wolfie09
It looks that way but winds are out of the NW not NE..It's the models trying to predict where enhancement will occur..Winds start out northerly before veering north westerly.. This frame may be more NNW lol
