tim123
Thanks snowlover. Not saying its correct but icon deserves more credit than it gets on this board. It was showing this past storm moving farther north than most.

We were not talking about today’s storm. We were talking about them not even mentioning the next one in their disco. And BUF had Rochester for 5” on THEIR map. Just for the record- I called for 3”. It was more a conversation about how they only get excited about BUF LES events which can hardly even be up for debate it’s so obvious.

Well the 2 LES events this year produced feet of snow and severely impacted travel. The synoptic storms this year have all been lame. I get why they don't "hype" them up. They talk about them like they are. The next few weeks feature chances at real synoptic storms and will likely be talked about in more detail. It's a pretty good pattern for them, something we usually get in march but in february with colder air.

tim123
Would have to think there would be a big storm on east coast since this is the same storm hitting California with 120 inches of snow

Those kuchera maps are a joke with next system, temps are pretty marginal. I'd go slightly higher than the 1:10 map. Maybe 1:12-1:
BuffaloWeather
Looks like we get a little -EPO at end of GEFS. I kind of like February for snowfall. Usually ninas feature pretty warm Feb/March. But this Nina has weakened a lot and I don't think it behaves like one.
