BuffaloWeather
The city of Buffalo and Northtowns are the only place in pretty much all of NYS with no snow on the ground. 1

BuffaloWeather
Really goes to show you that you need cold air to get the goods. NW flow events are common in arctic regimes. We haven't had too many of those the last few years and maybe going forward with global warming. Events like yesterday with low QPF can result in high totals with higher ratios.

This has by far been the best winter week of this season...several days with whiteouts...and then last night's little dump. Sat by the window for quite some time and went for my Jebwalk late last night. My wife hasn't looked out the window since getting home from work last evening. She refuses to see what has fallen. Lol.... Complete opposites!

CNY_WX
The sun has broken through the clouds here. Temperature is 19 degrees. It looks like the jackpot was northwestern Onondaga County down through Marcellus and Skaneateles. They probably picked up some impressive amounts in the hills south of Syracuse. TugHillMatt
Nam is inching farther north, but is weaksauce. Rgem looks like a decent light event....general 3 to 5 inches. Won't be enough for a snow day, but will be a good topper if it materializes. The students were mentioning this week how much it stinks that we have yet to get a snow day. (The teachers agree on the inside. lol) Even with Virtual learning now a thing, my boss is firm on snow days being snow days.

BuffaloWeather
If you guys want to see some of the highest snow depths in the Northeast, follow the adirondack 46 summit page on facebook. Just crazy pictures from this week up there. One guy has picture with snow up to his neck.

PerintonMan
Got about 3-4" in SE Monroe County total over the last two days. A little less than expected, though this isn't a prime LES area even for the Rochester area, but good enough to get out with my 3 year old for some tubing in the yard. Still snowing at varying intensity throughout the morning, and now a peek of sun.
