Jed33
Snowfall has varied wildly around here. I had between 1/2-1in earlier, but it’s melted down a little now. Meanwhile, there are places on the SE side of the county that have bare grass!

1234snow
2.5” now. Light snow. I’m sure a little bit of snow has compacted and will continue to do so as the day goes on. So may not measure more than I have now.
Jed33
That band up around Kingsport looks like it has unloaded pretty good. @Carvers Gapyou get anything from it?
Shocker0
I drove to my bank in Monterey 10 miles away and they only have a dusting to an inch. Usually they get as much or more than us in some cases. Definitely a finicky system. I drove through the campground beside my house and it's beautiful this morning
1234snow
I was fixing to say that the band from Kingsport to Bristol has stalled out.
Stovepipe
Glad to see people cashing in on this one! I bottomed out at 33 degrees and at one point around daybreak had a slight coating on surfaces but the rain washed it away. Temps on the rise again. HRRR and RAP nailed it here. PowellVolz
I got a good dusting at the most but my mom in Powell (Clinton Hwy) got over an inch. I’m at 33 degrees and she is 35 .

Wurbus
A pretty, light snow has finally started falling at my house near Karns in Knoxville. I doubt we will get much more than a dusting here, but at least it is pretty to watch coming down.

Holston_River_Rambler
Looks for Morgan County, it was elevation and location dependent. IMBY we had a SE wind all day yesterday that strengthened at dark and that should have been a clue for me. Here is the SE slope of Lone Mt. 10 min from my house (2500'): But on the N slope: Just north in Wartburg: Further NW I could tell the wind was more out of the NW and there was more snow, but not as much as I thought: Obed scenery: View over Mossy grove from Lone mountain:

Once you upload it to IMGUR, right click on it and choose "copy image address". You can then just copy that address into the text fields here and the pic will pop up. That way does not count against your max upload size or the total amount you can upload

Yeah I know how to do all that, it just felt quicker to me to screenshot the picture I just took and upload that. Because screenshotting the picture seems to put it at around 1mb but the quality still looks good

1234snow
Band has really developed Maryville to Morristown. Moving southward. 3” here total. It is melting quickly now. Water is pouring down the driveway. I would love to know the liquid equivalent of this event. Probably around .5-.6 here.
PowellVolz
You know... it almost looks like a deform band trying to develop over the eastern Valley. Flow is backing out of the NE.
Daniel Boone
There's power outages here in Lee County. The amounts have been pretty uniform with generally 5-6" reported Eastern sections with 3 or so far western section of County. Melting taking place now as Temp. Is 34. Still some very lt. Snow falling. It was an all snow event here.

Although, they whitewashed the rest as if the reported lollipops were in just those very small areas. I went to Pennington gap today. They had 5 as well. Dryden between there and Big Stone reported 4 to 5" I saw pictures from there. So, those higher totals were more widespread than indicated at least in Lee County.. There was 3-4 inches from here to Bell County to the Cumberland Gap area too. Map shading seems a bit off on the ground reality.
