Shale was terrible to the point we started looking at systemic risks from their bankruptcies on regional banks pre COVID. Talk about misplaced concerns. I bet there are some crazy big #’s in there. There's been quite a bit of consolidation in the space but not as many BKs as you'd think. Rig counts are way down and companies are showing a lot more capital discipline which is good. I don't play in the space too much... Too boom/bust for me.. I own $COP in a retirement account (but they're bigger and more stable) and have traded in/out of $MTDR for years now. I redid my entire house in floating laminate. My wife did the big bedroom downstairs by herself with a girlfriend. Came out amazing. New walls, ceiling and light oak laminate floors.
