hawkeye_wx
The pavement only has an inch, but I was surprised to measure 1.8" (including slush) on the snow board. That is in line with other reports from the area. To no one's surprise, the Des Moines area was the winner yet again with about 7". This must be four or five storms this winter in which they've been the winners.

cyclone77
As expected nada overnight. Hope to get in on a squall or two later on, and then a chance tonight for a wave of snow to move in. Hope we can stack an inch between the two of them.
McHenrySnow
These snow showers briefly dump and then the sun comes out and melts everything that just fell. It's painful. Only real chance for accums is tonight, most models indicate about an inch is possible. I'll take it. Though looks warm tomorrow too.

WeatherMonger
Everything here melting on contact pretty much, even with moderate snow earlier. Just had a heavy band come in that I could hear from inside. Thought it was raining, looked out and it was pouring snow and graupel. Got a coating on elevated surfaces and light dusting on the grass in about 4 minutes. Stopped as fast as it started.
cyclone77
Nice snow shower here with some very large flakes slowly floating down. Picked up almost a half inch which bumps us up over 7" for the season now.

Hoosier
The heavier returns are fun. Noticed something interesting... the lighter returns seemed to have bigger flakes. The heavier returns were small-medium sized flakes but they were just pouring down.

sbnwx85
Mostly graupel here with the recent shower that came through. Local news crew hit a pretty good snow burst in the western part of the county.
michsnowfreak
Picked up 0.1" of slushy snow earlier. It was a November or April like rain snow kitchen sink. Narrow band of around 2" between Jackson and ann arbor but even that is rapidly melting. I'm at 15.0" on the season but 11.9" of that fell between November 30th and December 29th.
