Chilly, down to 47 here and 45 at the bottom of the hill. I'd be surprised if someone in town didn't get to a hair under 40.

Good morning, Julian. If it went under 40, in town, I hope that someone had a lot of hair. The postage stamp stayed in the upper fifties. That and the urban heat night light angle effect. Folks still using incandescent for out/indoor lighting with open windows. I know fellows … I’m no competition for Don or bluewave, after all I did get tossed out of Brooklyn Tech. As always ….

My bedroom AC stays on about 20 hours a day now so that it's a comfortable temp when I go to bed. The 19th century windows are too tiny for anything bigger than about a 5000 BTU unit, which would be just about worthless to bring the 400 sqft space back down from 80F or so during the daytime. I turn it off for a few hours in the morning to avoid any issues with ice.

This was the second time of my life getting a tornado warning through my phone. I stood outside for like 10 mins trying to find a funnel and film it but my wife made me go inside due to the very same alert lol

500 BTU is standard though.  It's fine for most uses, although I dont have the same size bedroom as you do.....mine is more like 120 sq ft.
