IMO you are the coastal plain if east of a line from like NYC to Portland, ME... that sticks out over the ocean in the larger scheme of things. Now obviously some of those areas are “interior CP” but coastal plain nonetheless. Some people need a crash course on where they live on here. Yeah I could agree with that, it's pretty close to what the geography says. I always think of it based on the shape of the East Coast and Atlantic Ocean... if you smooth out the east coast you can easily see the anomaly that sticks out into the Atlantic.
