Spartman
DAY's snowfall today was 1.4 inches, the highest daily snowfall of this month like last month. All of it has since melted earlier tonight. It looks to be the highest daily snowfall amount for this month. Snowfall total for this month is now 2.2 inches, meaning DAY has now escaped the top 10 least snowiest Januaries on record this year. Current snowfall total for the 2020-21 season is now 8.7 inches. Meanwhile, CVG is currently tied with 1919 for the least snowiest January on record with a total of only 0.2 inches while CMH is currently tied with 1989 for the 7th least snowiest January on record with a total of only 0.6 inches. OrdIowPitMsp
Will be a typical dry and seasonable MSP winter week ahead with the exception of Wednesday. Might even get a below zero low tomorrow night or late week which have been severely lacking this year. Still have a crusty 7" snow depth but the "warm" 35F temps wrecked havoc on the deck snow which didn't have the frozen insulating ground. Puppy sighting in the upper left corner of the yard.
wxman_ind
It's been snowing here for hours, but temperatures are around 32. Snowfall rate isn't great either. The result is melting is faster than any accumulation.
Chambana
Mood flakes all day resulting in nothing more than a dusting. Some folks to my immediate south have 2-3” on the season. Pretty crappy winter so far.

michsnowfreak
This morning's 0.2" of snow melted around midday. A little bit later we had a heavy squall come through, whiten the ground again, and it is now melted. This reminds me of a late March cold snap, not mid winter. hawkeye_wx
The temp has surged across Iowa today. We started in the lower single digits, but we're now well into the 30s. SW Iowa is in the low 50s.

cyclone77
Coldest temp of the season so far this morning at 5. Lofted up to 36 this afternoon. Still a good 6" of snowpack, with lots of drifting from last night's near 50mph winds. The fresh 2" that fell Sunday really blew around on that crusty ice underneath it. Snowstorms
Have yet to dip below 14F this season. We could tomorrow night which I believe would be the latest on record. Terrible. Even 2011-12 or 2001-02 dipped below 14F by this time.

I want a glacier too! Mother nature knows how to push my buttons lol. I expected snow to melt today, we only had an inch of powder on the ground so of course that's when you get low 40s with very low humidity. Still a few scraps of snow left in the shade from a measly fluffy inch. However 3 other times this season we get a 3-4" snowpack with more water, we managed to warm up with dewpoints near 40 justtt long enough to melt the snow before it gets colder.
