btownheel
LOL, the GFS extracted data is nuts for next Saturday. You just don’t see thirteen degrees and snow in this part of the world.I’m legitimately really excited for the potential of a freezing rain to IP to SN long duration event. . HKY_WX
Here's your analog, gentleman, if it comes to fruition. Again, a very rare setup and capable of producing 30 to 40 year type events for the south. http://www.meteo.psu.edu/fxg1/NARR/1996/us0202.php#picture
Orangeburgwx
What is nuts is even my neck of the woods spends 48 hours straight below freezing, I know I am younger than most of you on here, but I can't recall that happening at anytime other than the ice storm we got down here in 2005...*CMC spends 36hrs in a row at 22/23Sent from my LGL322DL using Tapatalk
griteater
UKMet doesn't look that good at hr144. Looks like the TPV in Canada is big and in no hurry to move southeast...surface high is stuck way up in NW Canada...and the SE ridge is flexing. Let's hope the Euro doesn't go in this direction later

JoshM
That's one of the best CADs I've seen in my life, Power companies would have an aneurysm with a storm like that.
