Almost glad I’m in the foothills snow hole on the model runs. I was burnt a few weeks ago miserably in a similar setup.

I’m always on the outside looking in (rockingham is snow hell) I’m pulling for the guys up north but at least I want be latched on to every single run of the NAM and HRRR( does anybody really believe that?) I’m a weenie even when every model says I have no Chance. Cheers

NWS will wait till the 00z suite before they cave. Having the euro/NAM on the low end is definitely disconcerting but even the euro has made great strides over the last 24 hours. Not an easy forecast

Guessing they want to see if the NAM goes bonkers or even semi-bonkers towards this, before buying those solutions

look i'm no moderator but i think it would be worthwhile to start a thread for this so that chatter on the weekend storm has its own place.

If the NAM joins the party, a Thursday AM event thread might be justified.  Not until then.  Whoever starts a thread too early would be a pariah.

And it’s Tuesday.  I won’t think about Sunday until Thursday.

Agree, confusing which storm we are discussing. I’m the biggest jinx out there so I would not dare start it
