About 6" on top of the 5" i had after the ran. Nothing earth shattering just steady light snow been primarily a NNW flow which isn't best for my area, need a NW or WNW to get the best banding, Sunday Night into Monday night looking pretty good, then maybe Near Years Eve LES looks like something to watch. I did see a report over in Western UP that had 16" near ironwood.

I would agree to an extend, anyone familiar with LES in Michigan knows the Gaylord Area, Obviously the UP areas (Keweenaw, Huron Mtn, and Grand Marais area) are in their onw league but Gaylord isn't to far behind. If it wasn't for Beaver Island and Lake Michigan freezing towards winter end Gaylord would average over 200"+ easily.

I'm actually in a pretty bad spot for snow in this area. I'm only about 5 miles from the lake. If you go another 10 miles SE of my location you get to over 1k feet and they average 200" a year. I average around 110-115".

So that puts you around 179' above the Lake. For comparison I am at 948' here and Lake Michigan's datum is 577'. So I am 377' above Michigan. But then I am over 100miles away from the Lake. I sort of guessed that you would have been a lot closer to the Lake elevation seeing how you are so close to the Lake.

The thread is only about a week old, normally we have a thread around mid-late November. Last years thread was only a few pages long the whole season as well. WestMichigan
About 3" around here Christmas Eve/Christmas Day. Made for a nice white Christmas. Unfortunately LES also melts fairly quickly if there isn't much of it and I am just down to drifts left in the yard now.
josh_4184
Ripping LES right now picked up another 4" since this morning, starting picking up again around 7, could pick up another 3-4 before it shuts down later this evening as winds veer form the south with the approaching system. Looking like 3-6" of cement followed by another couple inches of LES from tomorrows system. Friday.Satruday may be another shot at some synoptic. Slowly gaining from the slow start.
