Up to 11 inches here and still snowing moderately but should be ending soon. Over 16 inches here since Xmas eve and about a foot OTG. Not bad.

I’ll give it 3 stars for my location given we’ve gotten almost a foot of snow in 6 hours however I can’t go higher than that for my exact location given that some areas just a couple miles south and east are gonna double that. For those areas probably a  4 star event.

It’s funny because you can almost see the band progression, you’re about 3” less than here and My location is about 3” less than KBUF

Finished up with 12-14” here. Today was an all-timer for us northtowners...day after Christmas...snow started around 830am and ended around 4pm, so full viewing pleasure...so many different kinds of snowfall (wind whipped medium flakes, big flakes piling up furiously, monster flakes parachuting down)...skies cleared quickly at sunset with a deep blue sky topping off the day.

Hard to believe BGM got more than double this much 10 days ago. Incredible to think about. From a synoptic storm none the less.

Agreed! And sadly with the weather pattern ahead ours will also vanish by Friday except for snow piles... next 10 days look mild mist days which I can’t understand looking at the indicies

Well I’m back home after 168 miles and 8 hours of chasing. That was an all timer for me too.  My soul feels rejuvenated!  Definitely got into some insane rates at times, had to be over 3-4”/hr stuff. .  Pushed out 6 cars and jumped one. What a day what a day.

Dude great stuff!!! You earned your 716 snow chasers badge...I mean cash or other perks would be better but this in its infancy so...

Thanks!! It really exceeded my expectations. And as I said before, a daylight chase is so much more enjoyable. I’ve chased at night enough, it’s disorienting and stressful under those intense rates. I actually got some decent video too!  I’d have to put it on YouTube though.
