78Blizzard
Merry Christmas all. Still 2-3 inches on ground here, so still a white Christmas eve and Christmas day this year, rain and 50's F be damned.

PhineasC
LOL snow showers streaming through central GA and it’s raining in the mid-40s here. Sometimes the weather up here can really be a kick in the nuts. These slow moving trainwreck storms are terrible up here.
BombsAway1288
You guys are in for a wild couple of hours tomorrow morning. Visiting family in NNJ where it's usually a dead zone for wind and it is absolutely howling here with the worst still to come. Here's to hoping the power stays on and outages are limited. Merry Christmas!
Sn0waddict
Sounds like a constant roar above but so far it’s been ok here. Next few hours will be telling but so far the rain and wind have been nothing extraordinary.

powderfreak
In Mountain Operations Center alone on Christmas morning (first one in at 5:15am) and the roof sounds like it’s about to lift off. The whole building is creaking in the wind as rain slams the windows sideways. 52F at 1500ft and 47F at the summit (tied record high so far). Winds gusting up to 50mph in the base and 80mph on the upper mountain. Torrential rain. “Merry Christmas, don’t go outside” is the report from up here.
