WNYwhiteout
Light snow happening already here in Geneseo NY. This wasn't supposed to start till 11pm according to our local mets. Juuuuust a bit early ...LOL ...So obviously no dry air here to overcome.
tim123
Not to far from rochester. Would imagine snow in next hour of so?
CNY-LES FREAK
When you compare the EURO to its previous runs, it has made marked move north. And it will continue to do so, watch. Come on, how many times do these systems come much further North than first anticipated? It happens way too often so we'll see!Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

I would say you are about 90 minutes ahead of schedule not 8 hours. Still a good sign that things are moistening up nicely!

From what I can tell, our best chances for snow come when the secondary really takes over and pushes a big plume of moisture North as the Mid levels close off. I wouldnt be counting on the scraps from the primary to give us anything appreciable.

Also indicative of a stronger primary.
