Consistently gusting over 50 mph along the Jersey Shore north of Barnegat Inlet. Mantoloking recorded 59 mph. Sea Girt also recording 59 mph.

I'm 5 miles inland and the wind is howling though the trees. Windiest I've seen since Isaias.

One of the Davis stations in Belmar measured a gust to 78 mph. Don't know how accurate or how high that station is mounted. Other nearby stations gusting to the mid 50s.

it was puking sleet in Piscataway before it abruptly cut over to heavy snow, and then the sleet came back.  i am guessing it's gonna be frozen vegetable medley until the CCB develops.

Models kind of suggested that happening. The heavier patches of precip can hopefully overcome the warm layer aloft.

Heavy precip burst making headway towards LI from the Atlantic. We'll see what that consists of up here.

Dry slot gets close then seems like a moderate band move in off the Atlantic just in time for those east of SI/Sandy Hook. Dont know how long that will hold up.
