jm1220
Dual pol mix line S of Long Island looks to be making more headway. The broken precip shield might be helping warm mid level air make headway.
Breene
Seems like we were all rooting for the precip to come in as early as possible to beat the negative aspects (dry slot/ warming) but those followed just as quickly

Dark Star
Heard pinging a few minutes ago in central union county nj, then dry slotted. Maybe around 3"? My forecast was 6-8" based on sleet mixing in and the low reforming much farther north than progged. Unless the back end packs a wallop (they usually don't) then I only wind up with 4-5". eduggs
That was a fun thump, but the good stuff went way north and west into north central PA and the southern tier of NY. Hopefully there will still be several more inches of snow/sleet for much of the area but for many in the metro the meat of the accumulating period might be almost over.
