Mrs.J
Went out to get the trash can, was told to put it out early as the company would be around early to avoid the weather. Saw my first flakes here.

Just to your south. I can walk to the Mall in less than 10 minutes. Saw a few wet flakes in there for a moment and rates backed down. Not looking forward to the ice. DDweatherman
I like where the high is located (1038) just N of NY. It’s hanging in there pretty tough and has been running a few mb stronger than progged. You can see with the bending of the isobars it’s still leaking the cold air to our north into the area on some NNE/NE winds at the moment.

Gonna partially rely on your obs for my house down there. Hope it flips to some snow eventually! Man I don't know. I think it's gonna be sleet and ice all day. I would consider myself lucky if it becomes all rain actually. I do not like ice at all. Give me subzero temperatures and snow.. or even bare ground. I just don't like ice. Dangerous and I've got wife/kids to worry about.

osfan24
NAM looks awful for a lot of us. Drives in rain pretty far north. If nothing else, it will be really interesting to do a model comparison when this is over to see which one handled things the best. HRRR is pretty aggressive on the snow and ice so we will see if it scores a big win or big fail.
