BlizzardNole
Those 10Z HRRR maps posted on the previous page would be ridiculous for my area -- 12.6" snow, 3.9" sleet and 0.19" ice?! Now I know that's highly unlikely but it would be nuts. Even the new Euro JI posted would be a huge win compared to my expectaions. 27/20 at closest station to me (GAI) but that spot runs cold. osfan24
Latest HRRR doesn't look quite as good. Seems like 3-4 hours of snow for most and then a flip. Not sure if it will give us backside love or not.

The Ole Bucket
Seems like we are starting with a touch of sleet here in Charlottesville. Boy howdy we better get some dynamic cooling or it's gonna be nothing but IP and ZR.

Paleocene
A nice toasty 30/28 here, above the mighty Sligo Creek, about a mile south of the beltway. Hoping I get to take a lunchtime walk in the snow, at least.

Hopefully northern guys score and it congeals but we’re wasting way too much time down this way. No meatballs inbound from the southern crew. The Ole Bucket
Look I'm just trying to get something good happening in 2020, that's all. And what's better than complaining about a storm.. AS IT'S HAPPENING? In all seriousness though, I'm glad to be on this side of the mountain. Less frozen precip but the Blue Ridge is going to be not just a skating rink but a luge track. Whatever happens this is the first decent storm to track in this area in more than a year, so that's fine with me. Part of the excitement.
