das
Hi there, all. IP just turned to ZR at the house in Clarksburg. 31.1F / 31F. Storm total so far is 2.1" SN/IP. I'll be enjoying this one from the place up in Vermont. 14F / -3F here now and only expecting 2-3" of SN as the storm skirts by to the south and east.
peribonca
If DC flips back to some frozen looks like 10pm might be the time. Here's hoping for a nice back-end... for once we don't have a low racing up to the north-east so it does have some potential once it passes our latitude.

Yeah, absolutely, my parents live between Wilkes-Barre and Scranton, in Pittston. Expecting 18-24, can't wait to see the pics they send while I enjoy 32 and a little glaze on the trees. Just got back from being out - most roads are decent in my area but have a compacted layer of snow/ice/sleet on them. They're mostly liquid now but they'll become a skating rink if the temperature dips.

DDweatherman
Precip in SWVA looks pretty well aimed at the CMD crew for later. Winds picking up with our low positioned nicely over VA beach/ORF.
DDweatherman
Hr 9 of the 21z HRRR has a nice band of moderate to heavy snow covering HGR-FDK-DMW. Would probably produce pretty good ratios in that band since the dynamics on the sounding are relatively impressive

RDM
Stuck at 33F for the last couple of hours here NW of Vienna - with driving rain. Ended up with about 2" before the switch to sleet and then rain (not much sleet). Can anyone give some insight on the timeline for the change back to sn and the prognosis for the region after the flip back.. Tks.
