ORH_wxman
It looks like the GFS is tapping some of the convection moisture into the conveyor belts better....it is notable in E MA/RI this run. Some of the guidance (including the GFS) is developing a bit of a lower-midlevel firehose from the east tomorrow morning....like 300 mile fetch at 40-50 knots) 2

Yeah I don't think it would do a ton back as far west asbyou are, but it could add enhancement in the form of extra frictional convergence in eastern areas tomorrow AM....just something to watch. 1

OceanStWx
Look at those subtle changes on the GFS the last few days. As the shortwave over the Upper Midwest becomes stronger/digs, the downstream side of the ridge over the Plains gets sharper. It allows the New England shortwave more room to amplify.

J Paul Gordon
The map is at 10:1 ratio. ORH won't be anywhere near that low. I'd say 15-1 up to 18:1. I'm referring to Worcester City including the airport.
